Dr Jane Philip - MB ChB FRCGP DCH DRCOG DFSRH Certificate in Medical Teaching

Dr Philip qualified at Bristol in 1976. Having worked full time at Maswell Park since 1981, she has recently reduced to 2 days a week. Special interests include womens' health, paediatrics and care of the elderly. Also passionate about medical education and supporting the next generation of GPs

Dr Jeremy Howes - MBBS BSc MRCGP DCH Certificate in Medical Teaching

Dr Howes qualified at Charing Cross in 1985. He joined the Practice full time in 1992. His special interests include general medicine, diabetes, paediatrics and undergraduate and post graduate medical education.

Dr Simran Dehal - Bsc (Hon) MRCGP MBBS

Dr Dehal qualified at the University of Leeds in 2005. He came to Maswell Park as our Registrar in 2010 and joined us as a Salaried GP in 2013. He works 3 days a week. His special interests include Paediatrics and General and Adult Medicine. He also works 2 days a week at West Middlesex Hospital in Urgent Care.

Dr Bella Shah - MBBS DRCOG MRCGP

Dr. Shah qualified at University College and Middlesex School of Medicine in 1992. She joined Maswell Park in 2015 and works four days a week. Her special interests include Diabetes. She is also a GP Trainer and education lead for the practice.

Nursing Team

Our Nurses are shared over the three practices. They take a leading role in management of long term conditions such as Diabetes, Asthma, High BP etc.

  • Travel Vaccinations
  • Flu Clinics
  • Women’s Health (including family planning, cervical smears etc.)
  • Suture removal
  • General health Checks (including dietary advice, smoking and alcohol advice)
  • New Patient Health Checks

Healthcare assistants support practice nurses with their daily work and carry out tasks such as phlebotomy (drawing blood), blood pressure measurement and new patient checks. They may act as a chaperone when a patient or doctor requests one.

Admin Team

The practice manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The practice manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.

Our receptionists are here to help you access the services you need. They answer the phone, book appointments, give out results, register patients and other administrative work, including answering queries.

Community Midwives

The Community Midwives are based at West Middlesex University Hospital. Telephone 020 8321 5007/8. They run Antenatal Clinics at Maswell Park Health Centre Wednesday and Thursday afternoons.

Health Visitors

A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing. They hold a baby clinic on Monday afternoon by appointment.
